About Us

Our Company

Better Health International was founded in 1997 by Ron Zucchelli who experienced first-hand the positive effects of nutritional therapy and formed Better Health International to help others achieve optimum health. When faced with a chronic illness while in Temple Medical School, Ron began to research nutritional supplementation for the enhancement of a healthy immune system.

Today, Better Health International has a full line of high quality nutritional supplements upholding the highest manufacturing and processing standards.

Our Mission

Our goal is to provide the highest quality products at the lowest possible prices. We thoroughly evaluate each product before adding it to our product line. We only supply products from manufacturers that employ the highest quality control standards.

Due to the large volumes that we generate on our product, we are able to receive substantial discounts from our suppliers. We pass these saving along to our customers. This rapid turnover also ensures that we always have fresh products. Most of our products are priced at or below wholesale cost.

Shipping Rates and Policies

US Orders

Free Shipping for US Orders Over $100.00

Or that contain any of these items in the stated quantities.  

All other orders in the US ship for $4.99. 

Orders are shipped by the US Postal Service - Priority Mail or First Class Mail.  Normal delivery time is 2-4 business days.  Heavier packages are shipped by Fedex Ground.  Normal delivery time is 2-5 days.  If you are interested in overnight shipping or other shipping options, please call 800-772-5568 or email support@betterhealthinternational.com.

We try to ship all orders which are received by 2 pm on the same day. Orders that do not ship the same day ship the next business day.  Not including weekends or holidays.

International Orders

We have years of experience shipping outside of the US and thousands of international customers.  Please read the international terms and conditions before ordering to avoid any unexpected problems.     

International Shipping Methods

US Postal Airmail -  Very Reliable but Limited Tracking, 1-3 weeks for delivery.      

US Postal Priority Mail - Tracking Number, Estimated delivery of 6-14 business days.

US Postal Express Mail - Tracking Number, Estimated delivery of 5-7 business days.

FedEx International Priority - Full Tracking, May be additional fees, More chance of problems with customs than postal delivery. 2-3 days for delivery.        

International Terms and Conditions:

You may be charged custom's fees, duties or taxes. These are separate from your shipping cost and are billed directly to you. Better Health International has no control over these fees and can not predict what they may be. You are solely responsible for these charges.

It is also your responsibility to make sure that the supplements you order are allowed to be imported from the US. We suggest that you to contact your local custom's office before placing an order to review the regulations for your particular country.

Note to our UK customers:  Please by advised that orders going to the UK that valued at over $23.00 US may be charged a VAT tax of 17.5% by UK customs.

Returned and Refused Shipments

Each country has different regulations; therefore, it is up the customer to make sure that they are allowed to import supplements from the US.  If your shipment is returned to us because the supplement was banned by customs, the customer made an address error when placing the order or the package was refused by the customer, we will provide a refund on the purchase price of the product minus 10 % restocking fee when we receive the package. The shipping cost will not be refunded.  If the package is seized by customs and not returned to us, we will not be able issue a refund.

Countries:

We ship to the following countries on a regular basis and have few if any problems with customs.  We have included a list of items that may be problematic based on our knowledge and customer's feedback.  These are only suggestions and should not be considered a full list.

Australia (DHEA, Hoodia, Melatonin are prohibited), Canada (5-HTP, Acetyl-L-Carnitine, DHEA, L-Tryptophan Pregnenolone), Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel, Japan (DHEA, Pregnenolone), New Zealand (DHEA, Melatonin), Singapore, Switzerland, UK.

Although we have had few problems shipping to these countries, it is still the customer's responsibility to make sure they are allowed to import supplements from the US.

We ship to most other countries including but not limited to Argentina, Aruba, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, Cayman Islands, Chile, Columbia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cypress, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Fiji, Greece, Guam, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Jamaica, Japan, Kuwait, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, Netherlands Antilles, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Panama, Papua, New Guinea, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, US Minor Outlying Islands, Venezuela, Virgin Islands (U.S.).

We do not ship to the following countries due to customs restrictions: Italy, Germany. We can ship orders for customers in these countries to addresses in Switzerland or the UK.

When you place an online order, order forms are used to collect information such as shipping and billing information, email, telephone number and financial information. Contact information is used to send your order and promotional material about our products. The contact information is also used should we need to get in touch with you concerning your order. Your email address is used to send our electronic newsletter. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by emailing us or using the unsubscribe link on the newsletter. For your convenience, your contact information as well as your shipping and billing address is stored on our server. This allows for speedier checkout on future orders. Financial information that is collected is used to process your order. Credit card information is transmitted using SSL encryption to prevent interception of this data. For your protection, credit card information is not stored on our server.

Email a Friend
If you choose to email an article to a friend, we collect your friend’s email address and your name. This information is used to send a onetime email to your friend with a link to the article. This information is not stored on our server.

Web Site Security

At Better Health International, the security of your personal information is very important to us.

Data Encryption - All information you that send over our website is encrypted using the most secure technology available. Also, for your protection, we do not store your credit card information on our server. Once your order has been processed, this information is deleted from our system.

Tax Policy

Florida has no sales tax on vitamins or nutritional supplement; therefore, we do not charge any taxes to your order.

Orders to addresses outside the US may be subject to taxes or fees that are charged by the destination country. We have no control over these fees and cannot predict what they may be. Please see International Orders for more information.

We offer a money-back guarantee on all unopened products within 30 days of the purchase date.

Back Orders

Our goal is to ship your order in full as quickly as possible. All of our products are usually in stock; however, occasionally a product that you order will be out of stock. In such cases, we will charge you for the items that are in stock and ship them out.  When the back-ordered item becomes available, we will charge your credit card and ship it out. You will not be charged again for shipping. 

If a product is on extended back order or has been discontinued, we will notify you by email. If the product is out of stock after 30 days, we will cancel the back order unless you specify otherwise.

For international orders we will notify you by email so that you may let us know if we should ship the items in stock or wait to ship your order in full.

Forgot Password

If you have forgotten your password, please use the Email Password link to have your password sent to the email address associated with your account.

Change Password
