Petadolex is a standardized patented extract of butterbur root that has been used safely for over 25 years in clinical practice. Petadolex supports healthy blood vessel tone in the brain, as well as normal blood flow in the brain.

The main active constituents of Petadolex are petasin and isopetasin which reduce smooth muscle spasm and have anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects.

Butterbur naturally contains variable amounts of chemicals called pyrrolizidine alkaloids (PAs). Petadolex is manufactured by patented process that removes all of these undesirable PAs.

Directions: Adults take 1 capsule 3 times daily with meals. Children ages 10 to 12 years old, take 1 capsule twice daily with meals or as directed by a health care professional.
