A combination of two of the body's important antioxidant nutrients. Reduced glutathione, a thiol antioxidant nutrient, is a major water-phase antioxidant inside the cell. Ascorbate is a major water-phase antioxidant outside the cell that can react with lipophilic metabolic waste in the liver to render it water-soluble, facilitating its elimination. Gluta-Ascorbs supports primarily phase II detoxification.
